Christmas is a great time to be a meat company! It’s so much fun but a great responsibility. If there’s ever a time when we must guarantee the best possible meat, safely reserved for you, it’s your Christmas meal. Whether you like beef, ham or the traditional turkey – we’re geared up for 2016 to be the best Christmas yet.
Below you’ll find all the information you need to help you book your bird (or beast!) for collection from your local Muddy Boots Meat Shop.
How does it work?
We make it very easy. Just like all other orders on our site, you are reserving for collection closer to Christmas. It is very important that you let us know at checkout what store you are collecting from, so we know where to send your order. Our webstore is very simple and you will see at checkout where to choose this information, along with a time and day you wish to collect. We have a handy instruction page OVER HERE to help if you get stuck at all.
How do I pay?
For Christmas Orders we will need take a deposit online, so be sure to choose “Deposit for Christmas Orders” in the payment options at checkout. This is because we order your meat in specifically for you. Your chosen shop will be in touch with you straight away to confirm your order is logged and then we’ll get in touch a few days before collection, to confirm that it’s safely here, the weight and total balance to pay etc, as well as your pick up time and collection. Should you wish, at this time we can also take full and final payment over the phone, which can make collection easier or happily come along to the shop and pay on collection.
We will also have stuffing, pigs in blankets, chipolatas etc in the shops.
When will I hear from you?
All of our joints and birds will be with us from the 20th December. We will email or call you shortly after they arrive. Be sure to include your phone number when you check out so we can call you with any questions we might have to make sure you get what you are looking for.
