Reserve Your Order Online
Booking your order online is easy. There’s nothing to pay now, just pay on collection at the tills. Here’s how:
1. Browse our products online
We try our best to make sure everything you see in our shops is reflected in our catalogue online. You can browse through the shelves, filtering down by occasion or meat type to find exactly what you are looking for, quickly and easily. Just choose one or selection you want, add them to your basket and go to the checkout…

2. At checkout, choose your collection point & time
As you go through the online checkout you will have the opportunity to revise your basket, and choose your nearest Muddy Boots store to collect from. Don’t forget to choose a collection time as well, so we know when you’d like to pick it up. We need a minimum of 2 hours from booking time to give us time to pick and bag your order for you, ready to collect.
3. No need to pay anything yet
Its exactly the same as if you phoned or emailed us to to reserve – we bag it ready for you to pop in and pick it up to pay when you like. Because of price per kg weights and general availability, it’s best to wait to pay until we know exactly what’s in your bag so much easier for you to pay on collection in store.
If you need to cancel, please tell us immediately so that we can put the stock on the shelves and make sure we have time to sell it to someone else.
4. Giving you exactly what you need
With the choice not to use preservatives, a lot of our meats have the same short shelflife as bread or cut flowers so you’ll understand it’s not a simple equation to have everything available all the time. We’re really sorry if we don’t have what you want to order and we’ll always have other suggestions instead or try and help how we can.
The best advice is to give us as much notice as possible. An order on a Friday for the following week and we can pretty much arrange anything! If you are looking for something specific or different to what we normally do, please use the Notes Section at the checkout. Looking for a butterflied leg of lamb? Just choose leg of lamb from the online store, and let us know that you want it butterflied.
Joints and cuts come in various weights, so please put as much information as you can in the notes at checkout; a weight or how many people you are feeding, or what you plan to do with it – we can work it out and make sure we have the perfect size. We’ll call you if we have anything we need to ask you to make sure.
As well as shelflife, we can sometimes be restricted on size requests by the season. Part Boned Lamb Shoulders, for example, tend to be around 2kg in the Spring and Summer and 2.5-3kg in the Autumn. Some weeks our whole chickens average 1.8kg and sometimes they’re 2.2kg, just depending on the rotation of the flock on the farm. We’ll always do our best to get you exactly what you are looking for and we know you’ll agree that varying sizes is still better than uniform farming.
